DOING FAMILY RIGHT is a non-profit entity with charitable status in both Canada and the USA. DFR exists to help people improve their most important relationships in life in a God-honouring way. Fighting for a strong and healthy family is our purpose. Most of the expenses for fulfilling DFR’s mandate come from the generous donations of our supporters. We are responsible to raise our annual budget to carry out this vision to build marriage and strengthen families with God’s blueprint.

Our ministry staff raise funds through donations for their salaries. When there is no income, there’s no salary. DFR is not subsidized in any way. We are not underwritten by organizations or government agencies but rather exist solely through the encouragement and financial support of like-minded visionaries who want to see lives changed and families transformed.

Doing Family Right maintains its non-profit charity status as a recognized ministry partner under The Great Commission Foundation, our parent organization in Canada. Within the USA, we are affiliated with Friends of the Great Commission. Both agencies are registered non-profit organizations with charitable status in their respective countries. Tax receipts for your donations to DFR are issued annually from GCF in Canada and FGC in the USA, not in DFR’s name directly. We operate in total compliance with all governmental regulations governing charities and are audited annually.
